I am an independent scholar based in NYC. Formally educated and trained in art history and theology, I research and write about art and religion in contemporary life.

My areas of interest include art history’s accessibility and relevance to everyday life; postcolonial and liberation theologies; and the intercultural, intergenerational search for home and belonging in diaspora.

I write, teach, and do research for museums, colleges, and publications. My independent scholarship takes place alongside participation in collaborative projects at cultural institutions and educational nonprofits.

I am a member of the National Coalition of Independent Scholars.
